Khao Sok National Park is located just a 2.30 hours drive from Phuket Island. It is a part of the largest area of raingorest in Southern Thailand. An area of outstanding natural beauty, with spectacular limestone mountains, cliffs, caves, rivers, and waterfalls. Much of the forest is still intact and home to a huge variety of tropical birds, animals, insects, reptiles and plant life The nature and ecology of the area has yet to be fully studied but is truly amazing in the variety of plants and animals that exist here. The world largest flower "Raffelasia" which grows to nearly one meter in diameter can be found in the park at certain times of year as well as many other distinct and rare species of plants
